Numerous Mars Area High School students were inducted into the school’s German National Honor Society (Delta Epsilon Phi, Pennsylvania Zeta Delta) Chapter.
Inductees are seniors Austin Cote, Nicholas Fuller and Kelsie Patterson; juniors Claire Felice, Sydney Heim, Talia Lamm, Eva Ranalli and Sydney Terzich; and, sophomores Teo Biaggini, Charles A. Bickel, Ryan Blake, Brooke Bowes, Kayleigh Clark, Mason Adam Coone, Mya Cote, Lillian Goodworth, Vincenzo Grieco, Lauren Haley, Mary Kalkowski, Zoe Knotts, Kennedy Kolson, Zoey Krock, Emma McCosby, Jack McKenzie, McKenna Merritt, Morgan Miller, Lindsey Morello, Jennifer Morrison, Emily Mueller, Liam Quinn, Tyler Raabe, Ainsley Ray, Zachary Ruffner, Adam Rohrbaugh, Aiden Savona, Alex Schumann, Meghan Anne Smith, Nora Solich, Hanna Stephenson, Evan Wright and Cole Yoshioka.
Delta Epsilon Phi is an honor society specifically for high school students enrolled in German language classes. To be eligible for participation, students must remain in good standing with GPA requirements, join in annual service event(s), and continue their German studies through high school graduation.
The goal of Delta Epsilon Phi (DEP), which is sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of German, is to recognize high school achievement in German and to promote interest in the study of the German language and culture.
