Mars Area School District is participating in the second annual WPIAL Food & Fund Drive, to be held Monday, Oct. 10, through Saturday, Oct. 22.

The District will be collecting canned goods and other non-perishable items at all home varsity sporting events during the event. Monetary donations may be made online at http://pittsburghfoodbank.org/wpial22. To donate, click on “Give Today” then, under the “Donation Recipient” section, click “Select a Team” and choose “Mars Area.”

Schools with the most “meals” (total between money donated and food collected) in each division will be recognized during the annual WPIAL Sportsmanship Summit on Wednesday, Nov. 16, with a banner noting their achievement.
