Five members of Mars Area High School’s Advanced and Intermediate Art classes, along with art teacher Erin Sloane, served as judges for the 2022 Cranberry Artists Network Holiday Show. 

Student judges were Advanced Art students, senior Kaitlyn Ames (Art Club president), junior Jamie Fletcher (Art Club treasurer) and junior Samantha Yeager; and Intermediate Art students, senior Hazel Whitcroft and sophomore Alyssa Hipsky.

“The students did a great job choosing and defending their choices,” says Sloane. “This was a great opportunity for the kids to understand a juried show from a different perspective, as well as a unique addition to a college resume.”
