Mars Area High School junior Kaitlyn Ames received an  honorable mention in the 2022 Slippery Rock University Juried High School Art Exhibition.

Ames received the honor for her works, “Chickens and Pillars” and “Stories.” Her works were featured in the exhibit, held Nov. 7-17 at the university’s Martha Gault Gallery.
