Several members of Mars Area High School’s FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) Chapter placed at a virtual 2022-2023 FBLA Regional Leadership Conference.
Seniors Kyra Harvey, Taylor Hollern and Sydney Terzich earned first place and junior Gabrianna Salvini took fifth place in the Marketing event; seniors Ainsley McGee, Jessica McNulty and Alexis Whitworth received second place in the International Business event; and, senior Ava Donnelly took second place in Human Resources Management. All qualified to compete in the 2022-2023 Pennsylvania FBLA State Leadership Conference, to be held April 17-19 in Hershey, Pa.
Other participants in the regional event included senior Olivia Donnelly, who took eighth place in the Human Resources Management event; freshman Makenna Myler, who received 10th place in Introduction to Financial Math; and senior Hayley Nicklas, who joined in the Health Care Administration event.
FBLA is a non-profit educational association of students preparing for careers in business or simply interested in learning more about the American Business Enterprise. The organization aids students in enhancing leadership abilities as well as in preparing for entry into and advancement within a business or business-related occupation.
