On Wednesday, Feb. 1), Mars Area High School reported that a student was found with a knife.

In accordance with District policy, the school immediately contacted local authorities, who are working in cooperation with school officials to investigate and address this matter. Please note that, at no time, was there a threat to the health and safety of the student body and/or staff members at Mars Area High School or in any other District buildings. The education process was not disrupted and continued as normal throughout the school day.
