High School to Hold Mock Accident Assembly

Mars Area High School will hold a Mock Accident Assembly for juniors and seniors at 9:10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 12, in the auditorium parking lot.

Note: This event is not an actual emergency.

The mock accident is designed to resemble a real accident in every aspect to demonstrate the serious consequences of drinking and driving. Adams Area Fire District, Adams Township Police Department, Butler County Coroner, Butler County 911, Callery Volunteer Fire Company, Middlesex Fire Company, AHN Wexford Pre-Hospital Response, LifeFlight, Quality EMS, Shriek EFX Studios, and Classic Automotive will all participate in the dramatization.

PARKING NOTICE — Students who usually park in spaces 233-349 will be asked to park in the Mars Area Middle School parking lot along Route 228 and ride the provided shuttle buses between the Middle School and High School from 7:10 to 7:30 a.m. and between 11:25 to 2:40 p.m. All students must use the provided shuttle buses. No student should be crossing Route 228 on foot. Those students affected by the parking changes are encouraged to plan accordingly or to ride their regularly scheduled bus to and from school.
