Several Mars Area High School students were inducted into the school’s German National Honor Society (Delta Epsilon Phi, Pennsylvania Zeta Delta) Chapter.

Inductees are senior Elise Raydo; junior Cassie Cannon; and sophomores Logan Becker, Sean T. Brennan, Reagan Connelly, Laura Craska, Ava Herbolich, Natasha Narasimhan, Ethan Painley, Grace Paul, Adeline Rocco, Jace Smith, Tess Tacik and Susanna Tomkovicz.

Delta Epsilon Phi is an honor society specifically for high school students enrolled in German language classes. To be eligible for participation, students must remain in good standing with GPA requirements, join in annual service event(s), and continue their German studies through high school graduation.

The goal of Delta Epsilon Phi (DEP), which is sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of German, is to recognize high school achievement in German and to promote interest in the study of the German language and culture.
