Mars Area High School seniors Lauren Karg and Mitchell Kulfan were selected as candidates for Special Scholarships to be awarded through the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program. 

Special Scholarships are provided by corporate sponsors and may be awarded to outstanding students who are not named Finalists in the National Merit Scholarship competition. PPG Foundation and FedEx Ground Package System, Inc. are sponsoring the scholarships.
