Numerous Mars Area High School student-athletes signed letters of intent to continue their sports careers at the college level:
Ben Bowser signed a letter of intent to join the Scots Men’s Lacrosse Team at Maryville College, where he plans to major in finance.
Bowser is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team, which earned the 2024 WPIAL Class 2A Title and took second place in the PIAA Boys Varsity Lacrosse Championship. He is also a four-year member of the school’s Boys Varsity Hockey Team.
Austin Campbellsigned a letter of intent to join the Wolverines Men’s Basketball Team at Grove City College, where he plans to major in finance and accounting.
Campbell is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Basketball Team, which advanced to the first round of the 2023-2024 WPIAL Class 5A Boys Varsity Basketball Championship. In 2023, he was selected for the Boys All-Tournament Team at the Innisfree Hotels Beach Basketball Tournament.
Ian Coulter signed a letter of intent to join the Brewers Men’s Lacrosse Team at Vassar College, where he plans to major in economics.
Coulter is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team, which earned the 2024 WPIAL Class 2A Title and took second place in the PIAA Boys Varsity Lacrosse Championship.
At Mars Area High School, he is a member of Interact Club, Key Club, National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society and Varsity Club. In the community, he volunteers with Butler Youth Leadership Program and works at Treesdale Country Club.
Laura Craska signed a letter of intent to join the Black Bears Women’s Softball Team at the University of Maine, where she plans to major in child development and family relations.
Craska is a four-year starter on Mars Area High School Varsity Softball Team, which advanced to the first round of the 2024 WPIAL Class 5A Varsity Softball Championship. In 2024, she was named to the All-Section 3-5A First Team.
At Mars Area High School, she is a member of German Club and German National Honors Society. In the community, she serves as a camp counselor at No Offseason Sports.
Breanna Goerl signed a letter of intent to join the Yellowjackets Women’s Soccer Team at Baldwin Wallace University, where she plans to major in nursing.
Goerl is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Soccer Team, which advanced to the semifinals of the 2024 PIAA Class 3A Girls Varsity Soccer Championship. She was also a member of the Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team for two years.
At Mars Area High School, she is a member of Class Council, National Honor Society, Spanish Club, Spanish National Honors Society and Student Council.
In the community, she gives swim lessons at Lucky Fins Swim Company and she serves as a lifeguard at Cranberry Township Waterpark.
Lindsay Kivlan signed a letter of intent to join the Dukes Women’s Acrobatics & Tumbling Team at Duquesne University, where she plans to major in psychology and criminal justice.
Kivlan, a Level 10 gymnast at X-Cel Gymnastics, has been participating in gymnastics since age 2. She competed as a member of the 2023 and 2024 Eastern National Gymnastics Team, bring home national medals on vault in both years.
In 2023, she was a Level 9 PA State All-Around Champion. In addition, she was the state champion in bars, beam and vault.
Mya Lee signed a letter of intent to join the Golden Eagles Women’s Diving Team at PennWest University — Clarion, where she plans to major in environmental science.
Lee is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Diving Team. She took eighth place in the One-Meter Diving event at the 2024 WPIAL Class 3A Diving Championships and sixth place in the 2024 MAC Swimming & Diving Championship.
At Mars Area High School, she is a member of Future Teachers of America, Photography Club and Show Choir.
Derek Piatek signed a letter of intent to join the Red Flash Men’s Volleyball Team at St. Francis University, where he plans to pursue a master’s degree in exercise physiology and a doctorate in physical therapy.
Piatek is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Volleyball Team, which earned the 2024 WPIAL Class 2A Title and advanced to the semifinals of the 2024 PIAA Boys Varsity Volleyball Championship. He was selected for the 2024 All-Section 2-2A Team.
At Mars Area High School, he is a member of Chess Club, Concert Band, Enrichment Club, Jazz Band, Spanish Club and Wind Ensemble. In the community, he works at North Park Lounge and serves as a referee for Mars Area Soccer Club.
Brynn Ramsey signed a letter of intent to join the Dukes Women’s Soccer Team at Duquesne University, where she plans to major in business.
Ramsey is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Soccer Team, which advanced to the semifinals of the 2024 PIAA Class 3A Girls Varsity Soccer Championship. This season, she was named to the All-WPIAL Class 3A and All-Section 1-3A teams
At Mars Area High School, she is a member of Class Council, Interact Club, Key Club, National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society and Student Council.
In the community, she is a members of Beadling Soccer Club.
Ella Roach signed a letter of intent to join the Dukes Women’s Lacrosse Team at Duquesne University, where she plans to major in biology.
Roach is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team, which earned the 2024 WPIAL Class 2A Title and advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2024 PIAA Girls Varsity Lacrosse Championship. She was selected for the 2024 All-WPIAL and All-Section 2-2A Girls Lacrosse Teams and she was named a 2024 USA Lacrosse All-American.
At Mars Area High School, she is a member of Interact Club, Key Club, Science National Honors Society and Spanish National Honor Society. In the community, Roach works at Berkley Creek Pet Retreat and volunteers with Mars Girls Youth Lacrosse Association and at MHY Family Services.
Abigail Robinson signed a letter of intent to join the Gators Women’s Softball Team at Allegheny College, where she plans to major in healthcare management.
Robinson is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Varsity Softball Team, which advanced to the first round of the 2024 WPIAL Class 5A Varsity Softball Championship. She was named to the 2024 All-Section 3-5A First Team and received an All-Section Honorable Mention in 2023.
At Mars Area High School, she is a member of Future Business Leaders of America, Key Club, Spanish Club, Spanish National Honor Society and Wind Ensemble. And, during her freshman and sophomore years, Robinson was a member of the Girls Varsity Basketball Team.
In the community, she volunteers at The Miracle League of Southwestern Pennsylvania and the Lighthouse Foundation Food Bank.
Luke Spreng signed a letter of intent to join the Fighting Muskies Men’s Lacrosse Team at Muskingham University, where he plans to major in history and education.
Spreng is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team, which earned the 2024 WPIAL Class 2A Title and took second place in the PIAA Boys Varsity Lacrosse Championship. He is also a three-year member of the school’s Boys Varsity Golf Team.
At Mars Area High School, he is a member of German Club and Photography Club. In the community, he serves as a youth lacrosse coach and will be volunteering at a toy drive in December.
Logan Truitt signed a letter of intent to join the Fighting Muskies Men’s Lacrosse Team at Muskingham University, where he plans to major in business management.
Truitt is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team, which earned the 2024 WPIAL Class 2A Title and took second place in the PIAA Boys Varsity Lacrosse Championship.
At Mars Area High School, he is a member of Key Club and was a member of the Boys Varsity Golf Team for one year. In the community, he volunteers with Project Healing Waters.

Aidan Alessio signed a letter of intent to join the Colonials Men’s Bowling Team at Robert Morris University, where he plans to major in mechanical engineering.
Alessio is a founding member of Mars Area High School’s Bowling Club Team, which formed in January 2024. He is also a three-year member of the Varsity Football Team and was a member of Pine-Richland/Mars Area U.S. Air Force JROTC during his freshman year.
Adam Rohrbaugh signed a letter of intent to join the Fighting Muskies Men’s Bowling Team at Muskingum University (New Conchord, Ohio), where he plans to major in sports communication.
Rohrbaugh is a founding member of Mars Area High School’s Bowling Club Team, which formed in January 2024. He is also a four-year member of the Boys Varsity Track & Field Team and also signed a letter of intent to join the Men’s Track & Field Team at Muskingum University.
At Mars Area High School, he is a three-year member of the Varsity Football Team and competed with the Varsity Cross Country Team during his senior year. He is also a member of Best Buddies, Chess Club, Enrichment Club, German Club and German National Honor Society.
In the community, Rohrbaugh volunteers as a middle school youth group leader at New Community Church (Wexford).
Lillian Wolf signed a letter of intent to join the Pioneers Women’s Soccer Team at Smith College (Northampton, Mass.), where she plans to major in psychology and biology.
Wolf is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Varsity Soccer Team, which, in 2023, advanced to the semifinals of the PIAA Class 3A Girls Varsity Soccer Championship, after taking third place in the WPIAL Class 3A Girls Varsity Soccer Championship and earning the Section 1-3A title.
At Mars Area High School, Wolf is a Varsity Club officer as well as a member of Interact Club, Key Club, National Honor Society and Science National Honor Society. In the community, she is member of Northern Steel Soccer and volunteers at Berkley Creek Labradors.

Peyton Randall signed a letter of intent to join the Wolverines Men’s Swimming & Diving Team at Grove City College, where he plans to major in mechanical engineering.
Randall is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Varsity Swimming & Diving Team. This season, he competed in the 100-Yard Breaststroke and 200-Yard Medley Relay at the 2024 WPIAL Swimming Championships.
At Mars Area High School, he is also a four-year member of the Varsity Track & Field Team as well as a member of the Future Engineers Club, Key Club and National Honor Society. In the community, he is a six-time Presidential Volunteer Service Award winner, selected for his work at Hope Lutheran Church (Cranberry Township).
Bryn Wilson signed a letter of intent to join the Red Hawks Women’s Swimming & Diving Team at Montclair State University (Montclair, N.J.), where she plans to major in communications and marketing.
Wilson is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Varsity Swimming & Diving Team. This season, she competed in the 100-Yard Butterfly and 200-Yard Freestyle as well as the 200-Yard and 400-Yard Freestyle Relay at the 2024 WPIAL Swimming Championships.
At Mars Area High School, she is a member of FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), Interact Club, Key Club and Varsity Club. In the community, she serves as a swim coach at the Rose E Schneider YMCA and Treesdale Golf & Country Club.

Jackson Fox signed a letter of intent to join the Presidents Men’s Baseball Team at Washington & Jefferson College (Washington, Pa.), where he plans to major in economics.
Fox is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Varsity Baseball Team, which advanced to the first round of the 2023 WPIAL Class 5A Boys Varsity Baseball Championship after ending the regular season with an overall record of 14-5 and 5-5 in Section 3-5A. He was named to the 2023 All-Section First Team.
At Mars Area High School, Fox is also a four-year member of the Boys Varsity Soccer Team
Jack Scanlon signed a letter of intent to join the Griffins Men’s Soccer Team at Seton Hill University (Greensburg, Pa.), where he plans to major in business.
Scanlon is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Soccer Team, which advanced to the first round of the 2023 WPIAL Class 3A Boys Varsity Soccer Championships after ending the regular season with an overall record of 11-3-1 and 9-2-1 in Section 1-3A.
At Mars Area High School, Scanlon is also a member of the Chess Club.
Emma McCosby signed a letter of intent to join the Titans Women’s Volleyball Team at Westminster College, where she plans to major in biology.
McCosby is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Volleyball Team, which advanced to the 2023 WPIAL Class 3A Girls Volleyball Championships. The team ending the regular season with an overall record of 9-9 and 8-4 in Section 4-3A play.
At Mars Area High School, she is also a member of German Club, German National Honor Society, Interact Club, Key Club, MISA(Mars International Student Association)/AFS (America Field Service), National Honor Society and Science National Honor Society. In the community, McCosby is a coach for Renaissance Volleyball Club (Pittsburgh).
Kate McEnroe signed a letter of intent to join the Generals Women’s Soccer Team at Washington & Lee University (Lexington, Va.), where she plans to major in accounting.
McEnroe is a three-year member of Mars Area High School Varsity Soccer Team, which advanced to the semifinals of the 2023 PIAA Class 3A Girls Varsity Soccer Championship. The team took third place in the 2023 WPIAL playoffs and went undefeated in regular season play, earning the Section 1-3A title.
At Mars Area High School, she is a member of National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, Spanish Club, Student Council and Varsity Club
In the community, she volunteers with BG Soccer, Mars Area Soccer Club and Cuddles for Kids. In 2023, McEnroe, a member of the Western Pennsylvania Race Club, took sixth place overall in the 2023 PA Cup Alpine Ski Racing Series and earned a spot on the U18/U21 Pennsylvania Alpine Racing Association State Team.

Avalos is a two-year member of Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team, which took second place in the 2023 PIAA Class 2A Boys Varsity Lacrosse Championships, after earning its seventh consecutive WPIAL Title as well as the 2023 Section 2-2A title.
Connor Hartle signed a letter of intent to join the Vulcans Football Team at California University of Pennsylvania — PennWest California, where he plans to major in finance.
Hartle is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Varsity Football Team, which ended the 2023 season in the semifinals of the WPIAL Class 4A Varsity Football Championships and earned the Greater Allegheny Conference title. A defensive end, he was named to the 2023 All-Conference First Team Defense.
At Mars Area High School, Hartle is also a four-year member of Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team. In the community, he volunteers with youth camps at Gospel Fellowship Church.
Cole Yoshioka signed a letter of intent to join the Seahawks Men’s Lacrosse Team at Wagner College (Staten Island, N.Y.) where he has yet to declare a major.
Yoshioka is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team, which took second place in the 2023 PIAA Class 2A Boys Varsity Lacrosse Championships, after earning its seventh consecutive WPIAL Title as well as the 2023 Section 2-2A title.
At Mars Area High School, he is a member of German Club and German National Honor Society as well as a two-year member of the Boys Varsity Football Team. In the community, he volunteers at Mars Youth Lacrosse Association youth camps.

Mya Cote signed a letter of intent to join the Hawks Women’s Lacrosse Team at St. Joseph’s University (Philadelphia), where she plans to major in health science.
Cote is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team, which, last season, advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2023 PIAA Class 2A Girls Varsity Lacrosse Championships, after winning the WPIAL Class 2A Championship and Section 2-2A titles. She was named to the 2023 All-WPIAL Class 2A and Section 2-2A teams.
At Mars Area High School, she is a member of Class Council and German National Honor Society. In the community, she volunteers as a coach with Mars Girls Youth Lacrosse Association.
Cole Dermitt signed a letter of intent to join the Cougars Men’s Lacrosse Team at Chatham University, where he plans to major in business management with a minor in sports management.
Dermitt is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team, which, in 2023, took second place in the PIAA Class 2A Boys Varsity Lacrosse Championships; first place in the WPIAL Class 2A Boys Varsity Lacrosse Championship; and earned the Section 2-2A title.

Enzo Grieco signed a letter of intent to join the Nittany Lions Men’s Lacrosse Team at Pennsylvania State University, where he plans to major in business finance.
Grieco is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team, which, in 2023, took second place in the PIAA Class 2A Boys Varsity Lacrosse Championships; first place in the WPIAL Class 2A Boys Varsity Lacrosse Championship; and earned the Section 2-2A title. He was named the 2023 Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Boys Varsity Lacrosse Player of the Year as well as a 2023 USA Lacrosse All-American; and, he was selected for All-WPIAL Class 2A and All-Section 2-2A honors.
At Mars Area High School, he is a member of Interact Club, Key Club and Varsity Club and was a member of the Varsity Wrestling Team during his freshman year. In the community, he volunteers as a coach with Mars Youth Lacrosse Association.
Mayson Kennedy signed a letter of intent to join the Hilltoppers Women’s Softball Team at West Liberty University (West Virginia), where she plans to major in criminal justice.
Kennedy is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Varsity Softball Team, which ended the 2023 regular season with an overall record of 7-9 and 4-6 in Section 3-5A play.
At Mars Area High School, she is a member of Key Club, Film Club and Science National Honor Society. She also played basketball through eighth grade.
In the community, she is an active member of the Junior Ladies of Charity of Holy Sepulcher Parish as well as Butler County 4-H, through which she has earned several local and state awards.
Zoey Krock signed a letter of intent to join the Bulldogs Women’s Hockey Team at the University of Minnesota Duluth, where she plans to major in rehabilitation and health science.
Krock, who has played with Pittsburgh Penguins Elite for the past 10 seasons, is a forward on the 19U Girls Team, competed in the 2023 Chipotle-USA Hockey National Championship.
At Mars Area High School, she is a member of German Club, German National Honor Society, Interact Club, Key Club, Varsity Club and is a four-year members of the school’s Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team. In the community, she offers skate lessons and coaches at UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex.
Jack McKenzie signed a letter of intent to join the Chesapeake Bay Retriever Men’s Lacrosse Team at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where he has yet to declare a major.
McKenzie is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team, which, in 2023, took second place in the PIAA Class 2A Boys Varsity Lacrosse Championships; first place in the WPIAL Class 2A Boys Varsity Lacrosse Championship; and earned the Section 2-2A title. He was named a 2023 USA Lacrosse All-American and was selected for All-WPIAL Class 2A and All-Section 2-2A honors.
At Mars Area High School, he is a member of German Club and German National Honor Society. In the community, he volunteers as a coach with Mars Youth Lacrosse Association.
Rosie Pellegrino signed a letter of intent to join the Eagles Women’s Soccer Team at Ashland University (Ohio), where she plans to major in accounting.
Pellegrino is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Varsity Soccer Team, which, in 2022, advanced to the semifinals of the PIAA Class 3A Girls Varsity Soccer Championship, after taking second place in the WPIAL Class 3A Girls Varsity Soccer Championship and earning the Section 1-3A title. This season, the Lady Planets earned the section title, took third place in the WPIAL playoffs, and is competing in the PIAA championships.
At Mars Area High School, she is a member of Interact Club, Student Council and Varsity Club. In the community, she volunteers with BG Soccer Camp.
Taylor Schmitt signed a letter of intent to join the Griffins Women’s Softball Team at Seton Hill University, where she plans to major in health science.
Schmitt is a four-year member of Mars Area High School Varsity Softball Team, which ended the 2023 regular season with an overall record of 7-9 and 4-6 in Section 3-5A play. She was named to the 2023 Section 3 First Team.
At Mars Area High School, she is a member of National Honor Society, Student Council, Water Protection Program, and is a four-year member of the Girls Varsity Volleyball Team. In the community, she plays softball with Team Pennsylvania Fastpitch.
