Mars Area High School junior Connor McKotch is the Butler County Area Vocational-Technical School Outstanding Student of the Month for April 2024.
McKotch is in his second year as an Automotive Technology student at the vo-tech and is working for the Bobby Rahal Automotive Group. He is planning to pursue a career as an automotive technician.
“Connor has a great work ethic, display professionalism and has a desire to learn,” says Tim McLaughlin, automotive technology instructor. “He is a team player, working well with others to learn. He also shares knowledge and responsibility.”
An Outstanding Student is selected based upon his/her character, leadership, honesty, responsibility, optimism and loyalty to creating a positive school environment. Honorees demonstrate excellent behavior, are well mannered, and are respectful to peers, teachers, and all other staff members.
