Friday, Sept. 4, is Picture Day at Mars Area High School. Pictures will be taken in the auditorium throughout the school day from 7:15 am to 2:30 pm, taking a break during lunch periods.

Students will be called down by homerooms, starting with seniors and ending with freshmen. Cyber students should check-in at the main office and then proceed down to the auditorium throughout the school day. Pictures will not be taken between 10:45 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. so that lunch periods are not interrupted. We will call down JROTC after second period and Vo-Tech students before fifth period.

Senior pictures are currently scheduled to be taken so that their pictures are available for district use on student management system Skyward. We start with seniors in first period in anticipation of early release concerns. The yearbook staff is not intending on using the senior Lifetouch pictures for main senior portraits in the 2027 yearbook and still requests that senior photos be submitted independently by Friday, Nov. 13.

Lifetouch pictures are used primarily for the school's student management system.  The yearbook staff may use them in the 2027 yearbook if a senior portrait is not submitted and also for other coverage aside from student portraits in the book.

If your child cannot be out picture day on Friday, Sept. 4, the current date planned for the make-up picture day is Tuesday, Nov. 3.
