Three Mars Area High School students received awards in the 2024 Saxonburg Fine Art Show.

In the Youth Photography category, senior Maggie Lyker earned first place for her photo, “Hannah.” In the Youth Oil & Acrylic Painting category, senior Sami Mazurek was awarded first place for her painting, “Healing Water,” and an honorable mention for “The Crows in the Sky;” senior Maggie Lyker, second place for “Layin’;” and, senior Madalynn Balfour, third place for “Anticipation” and an honorable mention for “Scyphozoa Odyssey.”
