ive Mars Area High School students joined in a Pine-Richland High School Peer2Peer (P2P) Club’s “The Mind Matters” Conference, held March 13 at Pine-Richland High School.

Juniors Sara Biaggini, Naeema Dheen, Olivia Miller and Brody Slavicek; and sophomore Nolan Horvath, joined in the event, which focused on promoting positive mental health for teenagers. Activities included presentations from mental health leaders and opportunities for students to interact and collaborate with their peers from other local school district. 

Miller is planning to research and, hopefully, implement a Peer2Peer mental health awareness program at Mars Area High School. For more information, call (724) 625-1581.
