Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),
Because of a continued chance of inclement weather, Mars Area High School’s Class of 2025 Commencement Ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. today (Friday, June 6) at Mars Area High School Auditorium.
Each graduating senior received five (5) green tickets for entry into the auditorium. Only those five (5) green tickets may be used. White tickets will not be accepted.
Graduating seniors are asked to arrive at Mars Area High School Cafeteria at 4:45 p.m. The doors to the Auditorium will also open at 4:45 p.m.
HANDICAPPED PARKING — Handicapped parking will be available in the Auditorium parking lot at Mars Area High School. All vehicles must display a handicapped placard to gain entry to the High School campus.
PARKING/SHUTTLE BUSES — Parking at Mars Area High School is reserved for graduating seniors and for handicapped parking (placard required). Parking for parents/guardians and other graduation attendees will be available at Mars Area Middle School, where shuttle buses to and from Mars Area High School Auditorium will be provided from 4:30 to 8 p.m. In addition, please note that individuals may not be dropped off on the High School campus. We ask that anyone parking at the Middle School please use the provided shuttle buses and refrain from walking across Route 228. In the event, that the parking lots at Mars Area Middle School become filled, overflow parking/shuttle buses will be available at Mars Area Primary Center.
HANDICAPPED SEATING IN AUDITORIUM — There is no reserved handicapped seating at Mars Area High School Auditorium, which is handicapped accessible. All seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
LIVE-STREAM — For anyone who is not be able to attend graduation in person, the Commencement Ceremony will be live-streamed via Mars Area School District’s YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=di4KUxZY17o or directly at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=di4KUxZY17o. The link will go live a few minutes before the 6 p.m. start time of graduation.
