Lyker received a Silver Key for her mixed media piece, “Incandescent Glow.” She advanced to the national competition after earning a Gold Key for the artwork at the 2025 Pittsburgh Arts Region Scholastic Art Awards.
Currently a freshman digital arts major at Bowling Green State University, Lyker is one of 2,000 artists selected to receive a national award out of approximately 110,000 students and more than 310,000 artworks submitted to the competition. Lyker is Mars Area High School’s fifth national award winner.
