Mars Area High School will present Arthur Miller’s The Crucible at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, and at 1:30 and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15, in the auditorium.
Originally published in 1953, the play centers on the Salem witch trials and the hysteria that erupts when a group of girls, led by Abigail Williams, accuses fellow villagers of witchcraft. As the trials progress, the town is consumed by fear, paranoia, and a distorted sense of justice.
