Mars Area High School auditorium set the stage for its annual “Night of Jazz & Chorus Cabaret” on May 15.

The show featured performances by the school’s Jazz Band, Show Choir, Period 6 Chorus, and Period 8 Chorus as well as numerous group and solo acts.

Individual acts were performed by seniors Riley Carrel, Charley Coker, Elizabeth Kelly and Grace McMichael; juniors Zoe Lutzic and Jenna Smith; and, freshmen Ella Babka and Jude Kopas.

Group acts were offered by seniors Aidan Krepin and Marcus Spurgeon; seniors Lacey Kern and Grace McMichael; seniors Elizabeth Kelly and Aidan Krepin; senior Marcus Spurgeon and junior Glenn Jensen; senior Aidan Krepin and junior Glenn Jensen; senior Naeema Dheen and junior Alayna Renton; sophomore Jess Scheller and freshman Avery Harrison; sophomore Kylynn Colton and freshman Jude Kopas; and, seniors Naeema Dheen, Elizabeth Kelly and Kiara Van Wyk, juniors Sydney Allard and Alayna Renton, and sophomore Janya Iyer.

The show also featured performances by the rock band Fourth from the Sun, made up of senior Naeema Dheen, junior Nate Deemer, Alayna Renton and Robert Yeager, and freshman Bailey Remler; and the rock band Below Average, including sophomore Alex Shaha and freshmen Gianna Bartley, Lindsey Hutchens and Lizzy Shaha.
