Two members of Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Golf Team placed in the 2017 WPIAL Girls Varsity Golf Qualifier, held Sept. 20 at Conley’s Golf Course.

Senior Natalie Welsh took first place with a score of 70 and freshman Victoria Witouski earned fourth place (81). The target score was 89.

The 2017 WPIAL Girls Varsity Golf Individual Championships will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 4, at Diamond Run Golf Course (Sewickley, Pa.). For more information, visit www.wpial.org.
