Four members of Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Tennis Team competed in the 2017 Section 2-3A Girls Varsity Tennis Doubles Tournament, held Oct. 16-17 at North Allegheny Senior High School.

The doubles team of junior Amelia Haley and freshman Emily Ivory placed fourth overall and will advance to the 2017 WPIAL Class 3A Girls Varsity Tennis Doubles Championships, to be held Oct. 19-20 at North Allegheny Senior High School. The doubles team of junior Lauren Lussier and junior Madelene Lussier competed in the first round of the section competition.
