Two Mars Area High School students who attend Butler County Area Vocational-Technical School will compete at the 2018 PENN HOSA Future Health Professionals State Leadership Conference, to be held March 7-9 in Lancaster, Pa.

Seniors Lindsey Hayes and Amber Maynard will participate in the CPR/First Aid Team event. In 2017, the students took second place in the event and advanced to the HOSA Future Health Professionals International Leadership Conference in Orlando, Fla.

The annual state conference offers students an opportunity to share their common experiences in leadership development, community service and in their health science education programs. Activities include competitive events; leadership and career development workshops; motivational speakers; and more.
