Mars Area High School Indoor Drumline and Winterguard competed in the 2018 Three Rivers Winter Ensemble Association (TRWEA) Championships, held April 7 at Kiski Area High School (Leechburg, Pa.).

The Indoor Drumline team earned second place with a score of 87.45 in the Percussion Scholastic A competition. The school’s Winterguard team took sixth place (76.12) in the Scholastic Regional A competition. For complete results, visit www.trwea.org/results.php.

Also of note, the Indoor Drumline received seventh place (79.60) overall in the Percussion Scholastic A competition at the 2018 Winter Guard International (WGI) Sport of the Arts Percussion Regional, held March 10 at Franklin Central High School (Indianapolis, Ind.).
