The cast and crew of Mars Area High School’s spring production of Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka received several 2018 Henry Mancini Musical Theatre Award nominations.

Senior Tanner Matko is nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Augustus Gloop. The production was also nominated for Best All-Student Orchestra, Best Crew/Technical Execution, Best Scenic Design (Budget Level 2), and Best Lighting Design (Budget Level 2).

All nominees will be recognized at the 24th annual Henry Mancini Musical Theatre Awards ceremony at 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center. The annual awards recognize achievement in high school musical theater in Beaver, Butler and Lawrence counties.
