Five Mars Area High School students were recognized for their participation in the 2017-2018 Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS) program.

Juniors Tara Brazel, Nicholas Rupnow, Teressa Wesley, Miranda Williams and Samuel Wrotny received certificates of completion for participating in PJAS workshops, held in cooperation with Carnegie Mellon University, Duquesne University and the University of Pittsburgh.
