Mars Area High School Girls Varsity Softball Head Coach Michele Goodworth and Assistant Coach Michael DelDuca are celebrating 20 year as leaders of the Lady Planets Softball Team.

In the last two decades, the pair coached approximately 86 players to 172 wins and 12 trips to the WPIAL playoffs. In 2006, the Planets earned the WPIAL Championship title.

This past season, the Lady Planets advanced to the first round of the 2018 WPIAL Girls Varsity Softball Class 5A Championship. The team ended the regular season with an overall record of 10-8 and 8-4 in Section 3-5A play.
