Mars Area High School Student Council is holding a “Cookies for a Cause” fundraiser to benefit veterans living at St. John Specialty Care Center (Mars) through Saturday, Aug. 25.

Cookies are available for purchase at the weekly Mars Farmers Market, held from 9 a.m. to noon every Saturday in the parking lot of Woodland Valley Church (Mars). Jenna Sutton, incoming Mars Area High School junior and Student Council member, organized the fundraiser.
