Mars Area High School is listed as 14th among the best high schools in the Pittsburgh area, according to information published by Stacker.

The rankings, based on data from Niche (www.niche.com), are based upon several key factors including student-to-teacher ratio; the quality of students and teachers; and the degree of diversity.

Mars Area High School received an overall Niche grade of “A;” an “A” in academics; and a “C+” in clubs and activities. Also, as per the ranking, the high school boasts an average graduation rate of 97 percent; and students are 95 percent proficient in reading and 89 percent in mathematics.
