Seven members of Mars Area High School chorus were selected by solo audition to perform in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District Chorus Festival, to be held Feb. 7-9 at Beaver Area High School (Beaver, Pa.).

Students are seniors Hilary Biaku, Jenna Protho and Ethan Skinner; and, juniors Alyssa Guenther, Reagan Lloyd, Griffin Miller and Mitchell Wright. Braden Pontoli, Class of 2009 Beaver Area High School graduate and California Institute of the Arts for Film Scoring graduate student, performer and composer, will serve as guest conductor.

The event will conclude with a public concert at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, at Beaver Area High School. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased at the door.
